A comprehensive Level 2 Mental Health Awareness course for all employees and managers. Builds the understanding and confidence to look after your own wellbeing, recognise when a colleague is struggling, start a supportive conversation, and signpost to the right help.

Across in-depth modules you'll learn what mental health is, common conditions and their signs, workplace factors and the law, how to start a supportive conversation, signposting and boundaries, wellbeing and culture, and how to respond to a crisis — brought to life with branded diagrams, decision flowcharts, sensitive real-life scenarios, a knowledge check after every module, and a downloadable Quick Reference to keep.

Finish with a scenario-based final assessment (80% to pass, unlimited attempts, every answer explained) and earn your Certificate of Completion.

Please note: this is awareness training, not a clinical qualification or the certificated Mental Health First Aid course, and is not a substitute for professional medical help.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the certificate valid, and should I refresh it?
The certificate does not expire, but mental health awareness is best kept current. Many workplaces ask staff to refresh awareness training every two to three years, or sooner if guidance or your role changes.
Who is this course for?
It is designed for all employees and managers who want to look after their own wellbeing, recognise when a colleague is struggling, and signpost the right help. No prior knowledge of mental health is needed.
Is this course accredited or recognised?
This is CPD-aligned awareness training with a certificate of completion, not a regulated or accredited qualification. It is not the certificated Mental Health First Aid course, and it does not replace professional medical or clinical support.
How long does the course take?
There is around 11 hours and 39 minutes of content across 44 lessons. Because it is self-paced, you can work through it in one go or spread it over several sessions, and your progress is saved as you go.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. When you complete the modules and pass the final assessment (80% to pass, with unlimited attempts and every answer explained), you earn a Certificate of Completion. You can download it and add it to your CV or LinkedIn profile.
Is it self-paced, and are there any prerequisites?
Yes. Every course is fully online and self-paced with lifetime access, so you can start anytime and learn at your own pace on any device. There are no prerequisites unless the course says otherwise.
