Terms & Conditions

Last updated 8 June 2026

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the online courses and learning materials provided by Pivotal University, operated by Pivotal University ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms.

1. Enrolment and account

To access a course you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country of residence.

2. Course access and licence

When you enrol in a course we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access that course and its materials for your own learning. You may not share, resell, sublicense, copy, record or republish any course content, or give others access to your account.

3. Fees and payment

The price of a paid course is shown at checkout and, where applicable, excludes taxes that may be added. Access to a paid course is granted once payment has been received in full.

4. Refunds and cancellation

If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. This right is lost once you have started or accessed the course, as the digital content is supplied immediately with your consent. Any eligible refund is issued to your original payment method.

5. Certificates

Where a course offers a certificate, it confirms that you have completed that course. A certificate is not a regulated or accredited qualification unless the course page expressly states that it is accredited and names the awarding body. Please see our Disclaimer for detail.

6. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the courses, materials and certificates remain owned by Pivotal University or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you. You may not modify, reproduce or create derivative works from the materials.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape or bulk-download content, or post unlawful, infringing or offensive material in any comments or submissions.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Our courses are provided for general information and education only and on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with a course is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and your statutory rights are not affected.

9. Data protection

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you enrol applies to that enrolment. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@pivotal.digital.
