It suits both people starting out and those scaling an existing operation who want one complete commercial playbook covering strategy, brand, platform, payments, marketing, retention and logistics.
Is this course accredited or recognised?
No. Pivotal University has no external accreditation, and this is not a regulated or Ofqual-recognised qualification. You receive a Pivotal University certificate of completion when you finish the masterclass and pass the final assessment. It is a skills-based business course, so the value is in what you learn and apply, not in formal accreditation.
What does the course cover from value proposition to scale-up?
It runs the full commercial journey: defining a unique value proposition, building a scalable business model, brand identity and messaging, choosing your commerce platform, payments and frictionless checkout, product pages and split testing, building digital presence and authority, social media that sells, search everywhere, press and PR, retention and loyalty, service and CRM, and logistics, fulfilment and global scale. It closes with the ecommerce laws, the Pollack Principle and a final assessment.
How long does the course take?
There is around 34 hours and 40 minutes of content across 71 lessons. Because it is self-paced, you can work through it in one go or spread it over several sessions, and your progress is saved as you go.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. When you complete the modules and pass the final assessment (80% to pass, with unlimited attempts and every answer explained), you earn a Certificate of Completion. You can download it and add it to your CV or LinkedIn profile.
Is it self-paced, and are there any prerequisites?
Yes. Every course is fully online and self-paced with lifetime access, so you can start anytime and learn at your own pace on any device. There are no prerequisites unless the course says otherwise.
